Join us for the 17th annual Eureka Schools Foundation Fund Run, on September 21st, 2025 —a community favorite that brings together families, friends, and fitness lovers for a scenic run through Granite Bay.
This high-energy event isn’t just about crossing the finish line—it’s about supporting the students, teachers, and programs of the Eureka Union School District, with 95 cents of every dollar raised going directly to ESF!
Choose your challenge with a 5K, 1M, or the Kids’ 100-Yard Dash. With over 1,000 participants cheering, running, and celebrating together, the energy is electric! Stick around after the race to support our youngest runners as they sprint across the football field, enjoy the community vibe, and cheer on the winners at the awards ceremony.

Standard Entries Include:
- A short sleeve t-shirt (size guaranteed only if registered by August 31st, 2025 and picked up on Packet Pickup Day. Size NOT guaranteed on race day)
- Chip timing (Youth 1 Mile and 5K)
- Age groups for Youth Mile timing: 8 & under, 9-12
- Age groups for 5k timing: -7, 8-11, 12-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
- Finisher ribbons

Race Schedule
- 8:15 AM Warm up for your race on the football field
- 8:30 AM - 5k starts on the track
- 9:45 AM - Youth 1 Mile (8 & under) starts on the track
- 10:00 AM - Youth 1 Mile (9-12) starts on the track
- 10:15 AM- 100 yard dash 6/under
- 10:30 Awards Ceremony on the football field
We will be bringing back our Sponsor Zone with kids treats, activities, toys and games! We love our Sponsors! You can also look forward to amazing live music performed by a local band.
Indulgence Coffee will be there to help you start your morning off with a delicious drink. Check back often to see who else will join us!

Course Safety
Roads are not closed for this event! You will be sharing the road with vehicle traffic and must obey pedestrian traffic laws. Participants should use caution and keep to the shoulder. Volunteer cyclists will lead out the 5k and 1 mile runners from the start and proceed in front of the 1st runner to the finish line. A cyclist will also trail the last runner.Race volunteers will be located throughout the course. If assistance is needed, look for National Charity League (NCL) volunteers wearing navy NCL shirts or bright blue volunteer shirts.
Additional Race Info
As much as we love our furry friends, ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE GRANITE BAY HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS or on the course as it posed a safety hazard for our participants. Please relay this info to your friends and family that may come to watch.
Results and awards will be based on chip time
Strollers, please stay in the back with walkers
Only registered and licensed service animals are permitted on the course due to insurance requirements.
All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. The event will take place, rain or shine.
