The race offers a scenic 5K race through beautiful downtown Hanford on Thanksgiving morning.  The top twenty (20) males and top twenty (20) females will win a medallion.

The deadline to register online is November 20th at 5 pm.  T-shirts are only guaranteed to participants who register by November 1st.  We will accept registrations in-person at the Kings United Way office through November 20th at 7 pm.  After that time, all registrations must be done at the race site on the morning of the race. 

**This is a pet-friendly event.  All pets must be properly leashed and runners/walkers with pets will begin at the end of the starting line**

Want to be part of the costume contest? Please read below.

Who can participate?
Participants of the race.  Teams of 2 or more, which can include children, and pets.  Children 4 and under and pets must be accompanied by a paid participant.  Teams are entered as one entry.  Please have one team leader check the whole team in.*

How do you participate?
Come dressed in your best costume on race day to compete against other Turkey Trotters in costume. YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED PARTICIPANT OF THE KINGS UNITED WAY TURKEY TROT TO PARTICIPATE!

Where do you check in?
To participate in the costume contest please check in between 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM at the judging booth located next to the race check-in table the morning of the race. Winners will be announced at the judging table at 9:00 AM after the race. Please make sure to come back to the judging table to see who the lucky winners are.

How will we judge?
All entries will have their photo taken and a number will be given to the team leader and/or pet owner (you must have your whole team together at time of photo). BE CREATIVE and most importantly have fun! Get your team together, dress your pet and make Thanksgiving 2018 one you will never forget! Keep in mind we will be judging based on presentation, creativity, color, most memorable, thanksgiving theme, and of course effort!

What will be the prize?
Best team costume winner will win $100 Dave & Busters gift card.*
Best pet costume winner will win a $50 PetSmart gift card.*
