Description
The Healdsburg Kiwanis Memorial Scholarship Fund, in association with Kiwanis Club of Healdsburg, is proud to announce the 46th running of the Fitch Mountain Footrace. The purpose of this annual family event is to raise scholarship money to fund college scholarships for our local high school seniors. Each year over $10,000 in scholarships are awarded to our local kids. This event not only benefits the students of our community, but it also a great time for people to gather for some fun morning activities with the family.
The run takes place in the Heart of Sonoma County's Wine Country; Healdsburg. Both the 10K and 3K courses begin and end at the Historic Healdsburg Downtown Plaza. Come and enjoy a day in the wine country with great restaurants, world class wineries, and the beautiful Russian River. The 10K course travels through quaint neighborhoods and then out around the challenging Fitch Mountain along the Russian River, finally ending back downtown. The 3K course is an in-town loop, and is fairly flat; perfect for run/walkers, and families with young kids and/or dogs.
Course:
10K course starts and finishes at the downtown Healdsburg Plaza and goes up and around Fitch Mountain. The course includes uphill, downhill and flat areas around the mountain with views of the Russian River.
3K course starts and finishes at the downtown Healdsburg Plaza. The course is relatively flat and goes through the town.
Fees:
Kids - ages 12 & Under - Free with a paid adult
Youth - ages 13-17 - $20.00
Adult - ages 18 & Over - $40.00
Included in entry fee for Youth and Adult - Custom shirt, post race refreshments. Kids ages 12 & under have the option of purchasing a T-shirt during the registration process.
Runners are encouraged to Pre-Register to avoid any delays at the start of the event. Shirts and sizes are only guaranteed with registration completed by May 22, 2019. There are no refunds and event will happen rain or shine.
Awards:
First place winners in each category will receive medallions. Age group divisions 1-9, 10-14, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+

Registration Costs
We have 3 age groups and pricing. Adults 18 and up - $40.00 (shirt included). Kids ages 13-17 - $20.00 ( shirt included and $20.00 fee will be listed at checkout based on race day age). Kids 12 and under free, t-shirts available for $10.00.
