About the Hop, Skip, Splash 5K
This race is a celebration of Jasper Ray, a joyful little boy who loved letters, food, and looking for the moon in the night sky.
Jasper lost his life to a preventable drowning before his second birthday. In his memory, the Jasper Ray Foundation works to make sure every child has access to swim lessons and water safety education — so no family has to face this kind of loss.
Every step you take on race day helps move that mission forward.
This is a fun, family-friendly beachside fundraiser benefiting swim lessons and water safety education for children throughout Orange County and beyond.
Last year we welcomed 200 participants and raised $30,000 to expand access for local families!
