This event GIFTS  back! Santa Claus with a Cause uses its proceeds to gift those who otherwise would not experience a Christmas and sincerely need staple goods.  This year, more than ever.  If your situation allows, hit the donate button and help us help those that do not have a gifted situation this CHRISTMAS.

Read Caren Ware's FINDING FIT to learn about the porters that carry the equipment up Kilimanjaro in Africa this race supports.  Also, read SNARED: Trapped by my Own Ignorance. What running the Everest Marathon and what can happen to Kind Kind of People have in common. A story of surmounting.   Books are slated to release this fall of 2022. Real, raw, enlightening, adventurous running stories that run through life lessons.

This is the Event that Gifts back.

Our gift to ourselves is health, but our gift to others is  hope.  Proceeds from this event are Western Wired to Africa. The money is used for  Christmas Day dinners and gifts.  When I ran the Kilimanjaro marathon as one of my marathons in the quest for doing all 7 continents, I had such a heart for the guides and porters and how hard they worked to provide staples for their families.  These men haul 70 to 80 lb loads for the opportunity to make a needed $5 per day.   The wired money has mainly gone for food, children's  school fees, shoes, some school materials and to help with dire medical needs. If you are in a position to do so, hit the donate button and help us help that cause.

ALSO, KID's READ is a local charity that gifts books and the motivation to learn to read.  We will have a box registration that you can donate NEW and lightly used CHILDREN's BOOKS.  And a portion of the donations will also assist this local charity.  CIRCLE K Kiwanis students will be helping serve our cookies and hot cocoa at the finish.

May we have the spirit of giving and gifting hope while we gift health to ourselves!   CAREN WARE
