Parking on Race Day

 THE RABBIT RUN has Jeffrey Trails Middle school and the Montessori School reserved for you. Please  carpool to help us limit the number of parking spaces the event uses! Please make sure you park in only these two lots.  Thank you and hop right over to the outdoor basketball court area for your event day registration and awards, expo area.

Join us for the Rabbit Run 5K (Easter Egg Hunt) and Orange County WILD HARE Challenge 5K. Starts and finish at Jeffrey Trail Middle School.  Both events offer a flat and fast course on the paved running path.  For the serious runner, the OC Challenge 5K Run offers top three overall trophies and loads of age division awards. The Rabbit Run 5K Run/Walk is fun run for the entire family.  Enjoy 6 egg hunt stations along the course, picking up a prize at each station. You choose your course tactics. Race…Hunt…Jog…Stroll…Roll…or tricycle it. Strollers, bikes, and tricycles are welcome for the Rabbit Run (kids must have pads and helmets).  Get a UNIQUE, LARGE CUSTOM CAST FINISHER MEDALS in each event and great themed race shirts. Pictures with the Easter Bunny at the finish. Make it your SPRING INTO HEALTH event. Caren Ware Events have Something for Every BODY and EVERYBODY.

OC CHALLENGE 5K Run

The OC Challenge 5K will start at 8 am. Run on paved paths throughout the course.

ALL PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE:

Professionally chip timed race
Age Division awards. 3 deep.  5 year age spans Overall Masters Male/ Female trophy.
Overall Fastest Orange County Resident Male/female
Top three fastest CLUBS ( 4 fastest times combined)
Large custom cast finisher medal!

Age Group Division

Age Group Awards for OC Challenge Run: There are “In It To Win It” age categories 3 deep with 5 year age spans:
1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80-over

RABBIT RUN 5K Run/Walk

The Rabbit Run 5K will start at 9 a.m. Flat and fast, or slow and easy, make it the pace you want it. Run on paved paths throughout the course. Plenty of hunt zones along the route!

Super fun egg hunting event
Picture with the Easter Bunny
Water & fruit at the finish line
Large custom cast finisher medal! 
Run both the OC Challenge and the Rabbit Run for an additional $15.  One event shirt, two great custom cast finisher medals!

PANCAKE BREAKFAST AT THE EVENT:  $4 Assists the Kiwanis and Kid’s Read.
Pay when you register, at packet pick up, or bring money for breakfast race day.

9:00 AM - Start for the Rabbit Run 5K - 3.1 miles of fun and longest Easter Egg Hunt in Irvine. Prizes along the course.

PACKET PICK UP/LATE REGISTRATION (Both Events):

Packet Pick Up Date: Friday, April 3rd: Noon to 3 pm.

RACE DAY PICK UP (Both Events):

You may pick up your race bib and t-shirt on race day from 7:00 am to 8:45 am. 

PROCEEDS to benefit Ware in the World Foundation's. Proceeds this year will be going to Miss Pam's Ranch, a working ranch that teaches troubled youth to ride, do chores, build esteem,  and set goals. Miss Pam has recently become wheelchair bound.  Proceeds will assist in making Miss Pam's ranch and home wheelchair accessible.
