Our courses are open-pathway routes — meaning they’re held on pedestrian-friendly trails like beach paths, park loops, and river trails. They’re car-free, safe, and full of good energy. Whether you're racing for a PR or strolling in costume, you'll be on a scenic route with no traffic to worry about.
👟 Because these are shared public spaces, you may pass by other walkers, joggers, or casual strollers who didn’t sign up — but that’s part of the CaliFlow charm. Just stay aware and respectful of those around you.
🎧 Pro tip: Save the Metallica for your post-race drive. Please keep the volume low enough to hear voices and instructions around you.
🔔🌊 Jingle Bell Run — Festive Miles & Ocean Smiles!
Enjoy a merry run along the beautiful Bolsa Chica coastline!
🏃 5K: One out-and-back loop, turning around at the 1.55-mile marker.
🏃 10K: Complete two loops of the 5K course.
🏃 Half Marathon: Complete three approximately 4.36-mile loops, turning around at the 2.19-mile marker.
💧 Two water stations along the course keep you refreshed throughout your race.
🎄 Bring your cheer squad! Our family viewing area has tents and seating. You’re also welcome to bring a camp chair and cheer from a safe spot along the course.
