Chef Yaku Camping Experience
CHEF YAKU CAMPING EXPERIENCE
We also offer 2 nights of camping with TEAM PCTR including the fabulous Chef Yaku and family. We do not offer one night of camping. We have limited space and partially selling Friday night is not optimal for us. We have hot showers, clean water, and 3 large group camp sites to put your trailer (Let me know how big), RV, sprinter van, truck topper, or tent comfortably next to your new trail running friends. Camping is separate from racing and very expensive to produce. Camping is one place (Ocean Cove Campground) and the race is at another (Salt Point State Park, 4 miles away up HWY-ONE)
What you receive with your camping reservation:
- 2 Nights (Fri & Sat) of Camping: $155 (comes with one meal and adult beverages each night)
- Includes ONE CAR parked at your camp location in either Group site (Will put you next to friends upon request).
- Includes ONE MEAL FRIDAY and ONE MEAL SATURDAY (See add-ons for your guests and vegetarian option available).
- Includes PCTR Camping Swag from Kleen Kanteen (All meal add-ons will receive a kleen kanteen cup - One Per Camper_
- Friday night Service is 6pm to 8pm (shall you run late to camp, we will make a to go package)
Includes at least 3 beverages each on Friday and Saturday night (beer, wine, and/or non-alcoholic) as we are always generous in this regard. - Friday Night is Lasagna Night with Salad and Garlic Bread.
- Saturday Night is the "PCTR Cookout".
- If you want to camp Thursday night with us, then let us know and we will hook you up early with us. We do not cook for guests on Thursday.
Please note that these are not individual campsites. We reserve group sites and fit everyone in. There is plenty of space and potable water within 100 feet of your campsite. The surface is dry grass with some dirt pockets for camp fires and picnic benches. We recommend a portable table and chairs to make your own personal space your own as there are a limited amount of picnic tables and we merge them to feast and celebrate. Fit as many people in your car for one price. All those in your car can have their own tent as long as they came in your car. They are not required to buy meals or anything else.

The 19th annual Salt Point Trail Run will occur on July 12, 2025. Stay tuned for more info.
Welcome to the 18th annual SALT POINT TRAIL RUN, produced by Pacific Coast Trail Runs.
We are excited to get back to running and camping with our trail running community. Simply put, this is our favorite to produce. We are committed to keep providing a festive atmosphere for all to celebrate. This is Salt Point Trail Run. Choose how much you want to play. It may be as simple as just purchasing a race day entry and/or 2 nights of camping, running, and exploring with the trail running community. Come run the ancient trails of the Pomo people. You will go back in time as you witness the wonder of rugged coastline, sandstone cliffs, kelp-dotted coves, tide pools, pygmy forests and panoramic views. Summertime running along the coast normally makes for favorable weather for a fast run. These pristine and historic trails should be on every trail runner and ultra-marathoner's bucket list.
Come camp with the trail running community and the team at Pacific Coast Trail Runs including your Race Directors, Greg & Jennifer Lanctot and new PCTR partners, Chef Yaku Moton-Spruill, wife Judith and kids Angel and Brooklyn. as well as Steve "The Captain" Prior.
