Kernville Elementary St. Patrick's 5k and Fun Run

Kernville Elementary PTC presents our annual St. Patrick's Day Fun Run/5k. A FUN and challenging run in the southern Sierra Nevada town of Kernville, Ca. The annual out and back 5K through the town of Kernville will take place on Saturday March 16th, 2024 at 9am. Our staging area, pack pick-up and race start will be at Kernville Elementary School. This is intended to be a fun run, all ages and levels welcome. Walkers are welcome too! Our kid's run (ages 8 and younger) takes place in the school's backyard and starts promptly at 8:30am. Kids will collect gold coins along their route and trade them in for a treat! A full weekend can be made of your time in Kernville. Come and enjoy the beauty of the Kern River and surrounding mountains. 

Come join us for our St. Patrick's run dressed in green or as a leprechaun. See if luck is on your side to beat your best time!

Kernville Elementary School Parent Teacher Committee is a non-profit organization that works alongside teachers and staff to provide needs (i.e. funding for fieldtrips, assemblies, and equipment, library books) within our school that is beyond the budget of our school district.  Our hope is that  every student would have the opportunity to experience their education and have up-to-date technology that will benefit them for the future.

Register by February 23rd to be guaranteed a shirt. 

***Registration and packet pick-up will begin at 7:30am. Fun run will begin promptly at 8:30 and 5K at 9am. Please be to the starting line by 8:55am***
