The Race begins at McDermont Fieldhouse and takes you along Elmwood past the city park. Runners and Walkers head East on Hickory into the residential neighborhoods of Lindsay and into the country. The first challenge will be Todd's Hill, one of the steepest hills in the valley, but only .25 mile. If you make it to the top you head south down Harvard and back into the city. Harvard street will send you through more residential areas and downtown before you turn North back onto Sweetbriar.
The second challenge begins inside McDermont Fieldhouse where you face the stair climb. You will ascend and descend 12 flights of stairs before crossing the finish line in the soccer field. Awards will go to overall finishers, age group finishers, and the fastest male and female on the stair climb.
Finishers can sample vegan and plant based food at the finish line compliments of Food From the Heart in Lindsay. As a sponsor of this years event, they are offering free food samples for you to try. For more details visit their website HERE
