2.2 for 22 Challenge for Veterans

Join us in person for the 2.2 for 22 Challenge for Veterans at Las Positas College on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Please arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. to check-in before the Opening Ceremony.

Opening Ceremony: 9:00 a.m. (Presentation of Colors and National Anthem)

About the Event
The 2.2 for 22 Challenge for Veterans raises awareness about veteran suicide and promotes hope, connection, and access to resources. The event recognizes the sobering reality that an estimated 22 veterans lose their lives to suicide each day while encouraging our community to stand together in support of those who have served.

Participants are encouraged to complete as many Challenge Stations as possible—or even all of them! Form a team with friends, family, coworkers, or fellow veterans, or participate individually. Every challenge completed helps spark conversations about mental health, resilience, and veteran support.

This year's event also features an exciting Obstacle Course Challenge designed to test participants' physical, mental, and teamwork skills while reinforcing the importance of perseverance and community.
