Information
The Race to the Flagpole is a community oriented race through beautiful wine country in Livermore California. The event is organized by the Livermore Granada Boosters, a local organization that has been celebrating the excellence of scholar athletes in Livermore since 1949.
We accomplish our mission by promoting scholar athletic events with thousands of photos/video posted on our website, social media, and newsletter. Throughout the year, we recognize top individual and team achievements with Wall of Fame photos, posted throughout the community. At the end of each school year we host our Olympian Banquet for all varsity athletes and coaches. At this event, we recognize high character athletes of Livermore and Granada High Schools in 70 Varsity Sports. We induct past athletes into the Livermore Hall of Fame and award $20,000 in Scholarships to the top boy and girl student athletes from each high school.
All proceeds from the Race to the Flagpole supports these activities.
Student and Group Pricing
Race to the Flagpole offers special pricing on the 5K and 10K for students and groups of 4 or more! These promotions are automatically applied, no coupon code needed.
- Students (anyone 18 and under) automatically receive $10 off the listed race price.
- If you register four or more participants at once, each participant saves an additional $5.
