Summer Nights 5k

1st Annual Hot August Nights 5k in Long Beach.

Join us for an awesome community 3.1 mile run/walk from the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier. We are inviting all local Long Beach run clubs and gyms to come out and participate in our Hot August night run. We will have prize money for the winners. The course is on a nice flat path along the beach. Enjoy a stunning sunset skyline view as you head downtown toward Shoreline drive. The finish will be an iconic breathtaking sprint down to the end pier where we will have a post race celebration at Buoys on the Pier. All participants will receive a race shirt and finishers medal. Buoys will have an Food and Drinks to purchase.

Time: 6:30pm (mass start)

Bib pickup: 5:30pm at the end of the pier

Cost: $35

Make sure you sign up under your club or gym to be entered in “The FAST FIVE Challenge”! We have added this fun competition between the local clubs to spice things up. Long Beach is filled with some amazing athletes and we want to see them in action.  It will be a combination of the top five racers' times from each team. They will be competing for $200 in cash/prizes as well for the Hot August Nights Team trophy.

Parking is available in pier parking lot for a fee. Limited street parking is available off Ocean Blvd. & 39th.
