Latina Grad Guide and Callejera Chronicles invite you to the first-ever Latina Scholars 5K on Saturday, September 19, 2026, a run rooted in community, purpose, and possibility.
This is not your typical race. Every step taken on race day is a step toward expanding access to higher education for Latinas. Through this event, we aim to:

100% of net profits will be donated to the TELACU Education Foundation and the Latina Grad Guide Scholarship Fund.
Whether you run, walk, or show up to support, you are part of something bigger. All fitness levels are welcome!
Participants will receive a race medal and a timed bib.

Event Day Schedule
- 8:00 AM – Check-in Opens

FAQs
The Latina Scholars 5K will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at El Dorado East Regional Park. Exact location will be provided to registrants via email along with parking details.
The race begins at 9:00 AM. We recommend arriving at least one hour early to pick up your bib, stretch, and allow plenty of time to get ready before the race starts.
Early bird: $50
Regular: $55
Group rate (5 or more): $45 each
Groups members must select their team when registering. The first 4 team members will pay the full price. Once the 5th group members registers, a refund will be issued to the first 4 registrants to receive the discounted rate.
Runners must register under the same team. The first 4 team members will pay the full price of registration. Once the 5th person registers, a refund is triggered for the first four, bringing their cost back down to $45. All future registrations after 5 would only pay the $45 price. New registrants must select their team during registration. If you register without selecting a team, you’ll pay the regular rate.
100% of net profits from the 5k will be donated to the TELACU Education Foundation and the Latina Grad Guide Scholarship Fund to support Latina graduate students.
Yes! All fitness levels are welcome. You can run, jog, or walk the course.
Yes. The course will close officially at 11am.
Yes, participants will receive a timed bib to track their race time.
Yes! All registered participants will receive a race medal. Additional swag may be announced closer to race day.

Yes, parking is available for $8. Credit, Debit, and Smart Pay accepted.
Strollers are welcome. Pets off-leash are prohibited.
We recommend bringing comfortable running/walking shoes, water, and sunscreen.
Race bibs will be distributed on the morning of the event during check-in. Please plan to arrive early to allow enough time for bib pickup before the race begins
The event will take place rain or shine. In the case of severe or unsafe conditions, participants will be notified of any changes.

Parking is $8. Credit cards, debit cards, and Smart Pay are accepted. Pedestrians and Bicyclists Do Not Pay Vehicle Entrance Fee.
