Description
Meals on Wheels of Long Beach (MOWLB) invites all runners, walkers and those with wheelchairs to join us “VIRTUALLY” for our 6th Annual 5K/10K event. All are welcome!
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, this year’s event will be for the entire month of July 2021. This means that you have the entire month of July to complete your race…whether that be 5K or 10K, walking, running or rolling. Complete your race at your own pace and you choose your venue…..it’s up to YOU!
Simply register and your registration will secure you an EVENT T-SHIRT. Be sure to include your t-shirt size when registering. At the completion of the event, all registered participants will be contacted via email on how to receive their event t-shirts.
The net proceeds from this event supports our home-delivered meal program, providing meals with a “friendly visit” for low-income homebound seniors, veterans and the disabled across Long Beach, Signal Hill, and Leisure World in Seal Beach. Your support of this event is more important than ever during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
