Description
Join us for Ednovate's RUN PMC, our annual 5k run/walk scheduled on March 16, 2024 at 8:00AM at Lincoln Heights Park (3501 Valley Blvd. Los Angeles)! It’s FREE and All Ednovate students are welcome to participate! Register for the 5K here.
The run will start at 8 AM sharp and will cover the various paths around the lake.
Participants will receive a commemorative finisher medal, a premium T-shirt, and access to a car show and wellness festival just across the street at:

All participants will be timed and results will be provided through Chrono track systems. Hydration station on the course and at the finish line.
Late registrations will be taken between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM on March 16.
Good afternoon Ednovate RUN PMC 5k participants
We are thrilled that you will be joining us tomorrow, March 16th for our annual “Ednovate RUN PMC” 5k run/walk event taking place at Lincoln Park in Lincoln Heights.
As the event approaches, we want to ensure that you have all the necessary information for a smooth and enjoyable experience. Please take note of the following details:
Parking and Address: 3724 Mission Rd. Los Angeles, CA 90031 (this is a 7-Eleven located directly across the street from our meeting location) There is limited public parking area for the event located near the registration and start line, this is marked with a black circle on the attached map. We encourage you to arrive early to secure parking and allow sufficient time for check-in and warm-up activities.
Timed: the run/walk is timed, everyone who participates will receive a medal, additionally those who place 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be recognized.
Check-in and Registration: Check in opens at 7am-8am. Check-in and registration will begin near the starting point of the 5k run/walk off of SELIG Pl., this is marked with a blue circle on the map. Please remember to bring your registration confirmation to expedite the process.
Course Information: We will have course signage throughout the route. The course is a loop format, and you will complete 3 full loops around to complete the 5k course
Hydration and Nutrition: Stay hydrated and fueled throughout the race.
Safety Measures: Your safety is our top priority. Please adhere to all traffic regulations and follow the instructions of race officials and volunteers. Wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather conditions on the day of the event. A First Aid tent is available if necessary. This is a public park in our school community, the pathway is uneven in areas and have been marked with orange spray paint- proceed these areas with additional caution and safety.
Post-Race Celebrations and Medals: Join us after the race for post-race celebrations and awards ceremony. We'll have refreshments, music, and opportunities to connect with fellow participants at EAST COLLEGE PREP. THIS IS WHERE THE MEDALS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED-everyone who participates will receive a finisher medal. The school is a short 2 minute walk from the finish line- there will be teammates guiding you to the school.
