Griffith Park Trail Marathon Relay & 8K

One Epic Trail. Five Legs. Your Team.

Sunday, June 6, 2027 | Griffith Park, Los Angeles

Gather your teammates for the Griffith Park Trail Marathon Relay & 8K, recognized by Runner's World as one of its 10 Best Races You've Never Heard Of in 2024!

Take on one of Los Angeles' most unique team-running experiences. Teams of 2–5 runners share five scenic and challenging trail legs of approximately 5.25 miles each, passing the baton and cheering each other on along the way.

Whether you're representing a run club, racing with friends, or bringing together coworkers, there's nothing quite like the energy of relay race day.

Why Runners Love This Race

• Five challenging trail legs through Griffith Park

• An exciting team exchange and finish-line atmosphere

• Competitive and recreational team divisions

• $1,500 in cash prizes for the Open Division

• Finisher medals, premium race shirts, and relay-only collectible badges

• Fully supported aid stations, music, food trucks, and race-day festivities

How Relay Registration Works

One captain. One team registration. Up to five teammates.

1. Your team captain registers and pays the full team entry fee.

2. The captain creates a team name and invites teammates to join.

3. Teammates complete their own registration at no additional race entry cost. They can reimburse their captain separately.

You don't need five different runners to participate. Teams of 2–5 are welcome!
