Trans Pride Celebration – Picnic, 5K Fundraiser, Raffle, and Trans Resource Fair

Celebrate Pride this year by supporting our transgender community across America with a Trans Resource Exchange, Picnic, 5K, Raffle, Film fundraiser, and community day in the park! In Person AND Virtual!

ALL ARE WELCOME!

Come build loving lgbtq+ community, move our bodies, and support trans orgs, artists, and businesses all while raising funds for the an historic all-trans created and produced documentary about trans narratives in America READ MORE BELOW!

In person AND virtual participants are entered in a raffle where we will give away THOUSANDS of dollars worth in raffle prizes from brands like Cantiq, Merrell, Both&, Skida, Chaco, Woxer, and MORE!

IN-PERSON: This is an all inclusive event for all bodies and ages. Go at your own pace during an optional 5k run/jog/walk/roll. Families and youth welcome and encouraged. All who register and run in person will receive a commemorative trans pride 5K medal AND a complementary pair of Superfeet Insoles! After the 5K, enjoy a Picnic by trans-owned food vendors and a Trans Resource Exchange featuring a wide variety of Trans/non-binary resource booths - Athletic, LGBTQ+Youth Camps/orgs, Arts+Education, Health, and more!

VIRTUAL: Celebrate pride and support trans people from anywhere! Measure out a fun 5K course for you and some friends and go have a fun run! Be sure to post your pics and tag @transpride5k on instagram and use the hashtag #transpride5k to uplift lgbtq joy. Virtual participants have the option to purchase a commemorative finishing sticker and/or the race t-shirt AS WELL AS raffle tickets!

ABOUT THE DOCUMENTARY - TRANSCONTINENTALRUN:

During the most aggressively anti-trans year on record, transgender endurance athlete Cal Dobbs (he/they) became the first trans person to run across America as a platform to fight for the inclusion of transgender people in sports and access to gender affirming healthcare. Along the way Cal and his team raised nearly $100,000 for grassroots lgbtq groups and captured on film hundreds of trans people fighting for their lives, while finding community, and courageously resisting legislation that seeks to eradicate them in rural anti-trans towns across the Southwest and South. Their stories need to be heard.

Help us bring their stories to the public through a groundbreaking documentary that follows Cal's journey through these dangerous places housing brilliant trans communities of love and resilience.
