Description
The Moraga Chamber of Commerce welcomes back the Moraga Turkey Trot this year! Get your stretch pants, headbands and running shoes ready and join all the other turkeys (real and human) for this great start to your Thanksgiving morning! We are excited to TROT OUT this family-friendly event on the cart path at the Moraga Country Club. Roll out of bed and come trot along in your activewear, your PJs, with a pram or in your most festive turkey regalia. This year’s race will offer “unofficial” timed 5K and 1.5m races with proceeds benefiting the food bank. Runners, walkers and lollygaggers of all ages are welcome!
Advance sign-up is required. Registrants receive a T-shirt (sizes not guaranteed after 11/17), a numbered running bib and goodies! There will be random drawings, as well as a prize for best costume! Registrants get access to coupons provided by supporting businesses. This year's event will have digital timers for self-timing at the start and finish. Come enjoy this wholesome tradition and celebrate Thanksgiving morning as a community! You do not need to be a Chamber or Club member to participate.
Bib Pick-Up Info!
In order to make Trot day as smooth as possible, we strongly encourage you to pick up runner bibs and tees prior to the event. Pick up will be across from Moraga Country Club, at the offices of one of our sponsoring partners:
- California 24 Real Estate 1100 Moraga Way, Ste 113, Moraga (across from the race location)
Pickup times:
- Monday 11/25 (3:00–5:30p)
- Tuesday 11/26 (10:00a-2:00p)
- Thursday (Event Day) 7:30a-race start
