Description

Walk for Inclusion!  Walk for Employment!  Walk for Education! Walk for Support!  Walk to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families living with Autism in the Inland Empire! 

 The 2018 Hero Walk for Autism is the largest Autism Resource Fair in the Inland Empire and raises much-needed funds to give children and adults with autism and their families the information, resources, and support they need to thrive in our communities.  Join us for an afternoon of fun and resources!  All funds raised stay in the Inland Empire to help local families!

The first 1,000 adults who register will receive a Walk t-shirt!  The first 500 children who register will receive an Autism Awareness Drawstring Backpack!  Great prizes for fundraisers!  The Top Team will lead the Walk!

The Walk will be a 1 mile Walk around a grassy field.  We do allow strollers, but no skateboards, inline skates, or  wheelie footwear. Pets are not allowed.

First 1000 Adults Register by April 2nd (World Autism Day) - save $10 and receive a Walk T-shirt!

From now til April 2nd - Adult registration is $25 per person; children 13-17 yrs $10; individuals with Autism - Free, Children 12 and under - Free!  The first 1,000 adults with register (18 and older) will receive a Walk T-shirt.  The first 500 children (17 and under) who register will receive an Autism Awareness Drawstring Backpack! 

April 3rd and after - Registration goes up to $35 for adults and you will not be eligible to receive a Walk t-shirt!

Great Prizes for Fundraisers!

The Autism Society Inland Empire is dedicated to improving the lives of all affected by autism.  We do this by providing support, Information & Referral services, education, programs for children, teens and adults with Autism, Family events, and public policy advocacy to benefit local families.  The Autism Society Inland Empire is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Prizes will be given to fundraisers who achieve the following levels of fundraising in addition to their registration fees:
 
  • $25 - Autism Awareness bracelet
  • $100 - Autism Sports Bottle
  • $250- Autism Socks
  • $500 - Autism Sweatshirt
  • $1000 - Autism Award
For team fundraising - all funds are counted towards the team and not individuals.   The Team Captain will be awarded the prizes.
