The Bay Race Three Bridge Challenge is a virtual race that challenges you to go 100 miles on a loop across the Golden Gate, San Mateo, Richmond/San Rafael Bridge in the SF Bay Area. You can run, bike, swim --- Peloton, spin trainer, treadmill, skate, ski, row, hike, walk around the Bay. Most sports are included. Take part alone or in a team. You have until April 15 to get it all done. Along the way, you will earn badges to recognize your milestones. Root other on the leaderboard and on Facebook.
The Three Bridge Challenge starts on Valentine's Day and starts and finishes (virtually) at Lake Merritt in beautiful Oakland California. As part of The Bay Race family of events, it challenges everyone to move on from 2020 with a healthy mindset for a BREAKOUT 2021. All our virtual races allow you to track your mileages seamlessly using the Socially Distanced Sports (SODISP) racing system that links with most devices using Strava (IWatch, Peloton, and most devices), Fitbit, Garmin, Suunto. Or enter your activity manually directly into the race. Started after February 14? Don't worry, we'll automatically add your last 7 days of workouts.

The Three Bridge Challenge supports Running for a Better Oakland (RBO). RBO is a non-profit organization that encourages Kindergarten-12th grade Oakland students to develop healthy lifestyles through running. By providing training and encouragement, RBO helps students build confidence and set goals, giving them tools for achievement and hard work they can draw on in all areas of their lives.
