The Cheers in the New Year Virtual Run celebrates the end of what seems to be the longest and (we hope) toughest year of our lives! No matter which side of whatever fence we sit on, (mask/no mask, open schools/virtual school, Trump/Biden, fires/hurricanes and those pesky Toilet Paper Hoarders!) we can probably all agree there's a LONG list of things that went awry! However, we're challenging you to be positive! Raise a glass and toast in the New Year! It HAS to be better than 2020, right?
BTE Run Series continues our fun Drink+Run Virtual Run Series with the Cheers in the New Year Virtual Run! We have two different packages available; the Full Flute Extravaganza which includes ALL of the fun swag (long sleeve tech shirt, finisher's medal, 8 oz glass champagne flute, and a feathered New Year's tiara or the Basic Countdown includes the long sleeve tech shirt and the finisher's medal).

You can earn $20 of your registration fee back by referring 5 friends to sign up and join you on your run! If they register using your referral code, we'll refund you $20! Your friends MUST use your referral code to receive the refund. We cannot adjust any registrations after the fact. You can email, share on social media or text your friends your referral code (found in your confirmation email).

How do I do a virtual run?
- Easy - just register for the race and complete the distance you chose WHEREVER and WHENEVER you'd like!
What do you mean "Complete your chosen "K"?
- The cute race shirt doubles as a countdown shirt and distance shirt! 10K, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5K, 4, 3, 2, 1K!
How and when do I submit results?
- You don't HAVE to submit results, your swag will ship no matter what!
- You CAN submit results anytime you want by clicking on the top of the screen, clicking results and following the prompts through.
When will I get my swag?
We will be sending the shipments out in a few different waves. The first will be sent on Saturday, December 19 and you should receive an email shipping notification where you can track your package. For participants that register later, we will be sending them out every few days to make sure everyone gets their swag! Please note, due to "Shipageddon" (as coined by the media) of extreme winter storms, unusually high holiday shipping volumes, and vaccine shipments taking priority, packages may be delayed. Please be patient.
