Description
We invite media representatives and government leaders to experience a 20-minute on-site demo to see first-hand how endurance events can run safely and effectively.
The California Coalition of Endurance Sports has developed a COVID mitigation plan to standardize statewide operational guidelines that all endurance events can follow to produce safe events. These plans are proven to be effective and are scalable for events of different sizes, footprints and sports.
Similar to hotel meetings, there is currently no guidance from the state on reopening endurance events. Meanwhile, nearly every other state has guidelines and allowances for these types of events.
Endurance events, which are held outdoors and naturally socially distant, occur generally once a year and require up to a year of planning. It’s imperative that the state approve the guidelines now so that 2021 events can be saved to benefit economic recovery and jobs, and to keep these events in California.

SCHEDULE of EVENTS
- Show up at 11:00AM at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre to go through our socially distant, non-contact bib pick up
- Experience the touch-free registration/check-in process and automatic bib assignment
- Head to the start line and cross the start mats in waves of socially distant increments
- Walk south for approximately 100 yards, stop by and get some water at our safe and clean water stop, then continue and cross the finish line
- After the event, pick up a nutrition page, your official event merchandise, and continue to our brief presentation
- A text message will deliver your results within minutes of crossing the finish line… no need to stay and wait for an awards ceremony
