Event Description

Lace up your sneakers and join the City of Paramount for our annual 5K/1K Run/Walk & Health and Wellness Fair! Whether you’re racing to the finish line or strolling with family and friends, this event is all about moving your body, feeling good, and celebrating a healthier Paramount together. Stick around after the run to explore wellness resources, fitness activities, giveaways, and fun for all ages. Best of all, every dollar raised directly supports the Paramount Education Partnership (PEP) Scholarship—so every step you take helps invest in our students’ future! 🏃‍♀️💙🎓

Yes! Dogs are allowed! All dogs must be leashed at all times. Please clean up after your pets!

Yes! Same-day registration will be available though giveaways are not guaranteed.

Yes! Restrooms will be available on site.

Parking will be available at Bianchi Theatre across from Paramount Park. PLease follow posted signage and staff directions.

Gear check will not be available. Please leave valuables at home.

Yes! All participants will receive a race medal, and event t-shirts are included with registration. Be sure to register early as shirts are not guaranteed for late sign-ups. 1K runners will receive a different race medal.

Yes! Water stations will be available along the course to keep participants hydrated!

Yes! Headphones and earbuds are allowed. For satety, always be aware of your surroundings.

Yes! Someone else may pikc up your packet with a copy of your ID or registration code.

Packet pickup will take place Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 29. Locations will be announced closer to race day.

The start line for the 5K AND 1K is located on the corner of Paramount Blvd. and 3rd St.

Yes, our course is USATF Certified!

They are NOT allowed on the course.

Strollers and wagons are allowed in the 5K and 1K, but they must start towards the back of the corral.

You are welcome to accompany children in the 1K, though unregistered participants will not receive a medal or t-shirt.
