FAQ
- Q1: Are dogs allowed?
- A1: Dogs are allowed in the park, but unfortunately, dogs will not be allowed on the race course. Some participants may not be comfortable around dogs; and some dogs are not comfortable around large crowds. Perhaps in future races we can look into adding a dog-owner division/wave, but it is not in the scope for this year.
- Q2: Are jogging strollers allowed?
- A2: Yes. We do ask that you start towards the back to allow for traffic to thin out.
- Q3: I don't run. Do I have to run?
- A3: This is a walk/run event. You can walk, hike, and enjoy the scenery. The average person can walk the 5k in about an hour (about 20 minutes per mile).
- Q4: How would you describe the course?
- A4: The course is mostly trail with some paved areas. There are many down hill and flat areas with the occasional short hill climb.
