Riley's Run for Aortic Health (Draft)

Riley (a Corona, CA native), is a 16 year old girl who was born with a bicuspid aortic valve which has led to an aortic aneurysm currently. Riley is a very fun, bright young lady with aspirations of becoming an astrophysicist or aerospace engineer--She begins attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in August 2019 (as a 16 year old!) majoring in Aerospace Engineering (Astronautical track) with a minor in Mechanical Engineering (Propulsion focus).   Riley recently underwent her first open heart surgery and aside from some physical activity restrictions she leads a very normal life-- Riley will be cheering you all on and giving you your Medal when you cross the Finish Line!
This race was put together by her friends and family to raise money for the John Ritter Foundation in hopes of continued research for treatment and awareness.
