Can You Catch the Wildcat 5K

On January 28th The Whintey Wildcat will take off with a short lead.  Your objective, CATCH HIM!!  A fun exciting way to challenge yourself, enjoy beautiful Whitney Ranch with family and friends, and provide needed funds for two great causes!   The WHS track and field team is raising money for equiptment, coach stipends, entry fees to meets in 2017!  Secondly, we are raising money for the Heidi Greenwood Scholarship, which goes to runners at both Rocklin High and Whitney High.  Heidi was a distance runner at RHS who passed away during the track and field season of 2013.  She was a caring and hard working young woman.   Heidi was friends with lots of WHS runners and through her, both schools share a common bond.  We reflect often on her goodness and want to share that with runners for decades to come.  All profits on T Shirt sales will go directly to the scholarship!  Right now, all T-shirt sales will occur on the day of the event.  Because of ASB rules, we cant collect money through that account and transfer it to the scholarship.  In the near future, there could be a link to paying for the shirts before the event.  I will keep you posted!
