Sugar Stash Dash - A Fun Run For Type One

Are you an avid runner looking for motivation during the pandemic?  Or are you looking to ease into running your first marathon?  Everyone is invited to join the virtual Sugar Stash Dash, a Fun Run for Type One "Diabetes" (T1D), presented by Wine About Diabetes.

Run, or Walk, and join us as we raise vital funds that will improve the lives of people living with T1D and ultimately help us find a cure.  All profits from this event will be donated to JDRF, the leader in funding research and advocating for people living with T1D.  Wine About Diabetes, is a huge supporter of JDRF, as the members of our group are all affected personally by T1D.  Our goal with this virtual race is to raise not only awareness of T1D, but also raise vital funds that go towards researching a cure so that we can help turn Type One into Type None.  Thank you for helping us log the steps to get us closer to that goal.

Due to Covid-19 our race will be a virtual event this year.  Participants can choose from 3 events  (26.2 miles, 50.2 miles and 100.2 miles), and you will have the month of November to complete your event.   The registration price is $45 through 9/30/2020. Effective 10/1/2020, the registration price will increase to $55.

After you have registered for an event, you will receive an email confirming your registration. The email will contain a link to log your miles, bib number, and how to stay connected.  Remember to enter all your miles. You can also log your miles by clicking on the "Results" tab on the top of the website and looking yourself up by name or bib number. Once you find your entry, you can click "Submit Virtual Result" to add your miles. The event ends on 11/30/2020, and you will have until 12/2/2020 to log all mileage completed for the event.
