On Sunday, June 19th, 2022, join the We Are Run Series and Fit, Black, and Educated, Inc. for our annual Juneteenth Celebration 5k run/walk/bike. This event commemorates June 19th, 1865, the date when the last remaining Black American slaves in the Confederacy were emancipated, effectively marking the end of chattel slavery in the United States. Join us in-person in San Diego or from wherever you are, to celebrate a new beginning and reflect on this historic day.
