50K is a great introduction into ultra marathons, ideal for all running levels.
15K is a beautiful courses for exploring new trails and accomplishing race goals.
10K course challenges the runner with a 1,000ft gain but with a beautiful reward of the view from the summit of Bernardo Mountain Peak.
5K is an old favorite with a new twist, exploring the lakes shore. Great for a quick run or walk.
Stroller Trail 5K a new way to run on the trails with your little one.
The Kid’s 1 Mile Fun Run is open to children 10 and younger. This is a non-timed run. All kids receive a finisher’s medal and other treats.
Off Road Challenge Run | Bike | Run is our NEW experience to a weekend of racing. Challenge yourself and compete as and INDIVIDUAL or bring friends along for the challenge and compete as a TEAM.
We are a CUPLESS race series. Please make sure to bring some form of hydration vessel to carry hydration for your event. There will not be cups provided at aid stations.

Welcome our newest edition to our Lake Hodges Trail Fest Experience an OFF ROAD CHALLENGE as you Run->Bike->Run your way to the Finish around Lake Hodges. Our combined mileage of 23 miles will be sure to give you an experience to remember.
INDIVIDUALLY challenge yourself and complete the Run | Bike | Run course as a total time of completion.
TEAM enjoy a truly memorable experience with 2-3 friends and complete the Run | Bike | Run as a team. Each team member completes one of the legs. A team time will be recorded.

If you are late to the start line, typically most races would not allow you to start, but as long as you understand that you still have to meet all the same cut-off times, and that your time will be reflected as the same start time as all the other runners, you will be allowed to start. There will be no adjustments to your cutoff times, or finisher times.

There are 4 primary parking locations for the Lake Hodges Trail Runs. There is NO event parking at the Start/Finish.
Parking lot “A” holds a very small number of vehicles, so it will fill up very quickly. Parking lot “B” holds about 80 vehicles. Once parking lot “B” has reached capacity, the remainder of cars will be directed to Parking Lots “C” and “D.” If you do not want to wait in line to get in to parking lot “B” you are welcome to park in lots “C” and “D” upon arrival. It’s a very short walk to the check-in and Start/Finish.
5K runners and Kid’s Run participants should park in lots “C” & “D” unless arriving early for other distance events.
*ATTENTION: To make parking easier for everyone, we ask that you please carpool if possible. It will make your lives easier, our lives easier, and it’s just better for the planet which means greener trails for everyone!

Full Aid Station will be supplied with typical eats for this level of race: GU, Blocks, soda, some salty, sweet, and chewy snacks at the 15K, 10K, 5K aid stations. The 50K aid stations will have turkey/ham wraps, avocados, fruit, and other heavier "snacks". We will of course have water and some electrolyte replenishment. If you have dietary or allergy restrictions please make sure that you are prepared with your own snacks as needed.
**Please note that each aid station has approximate mileage based on mapping programs, and may differ a bit from each person's watch, app, or other tracking devices.

ARE THERE BATHROOMS ON COURSE? We provide Port-a-Toilets at the Start Finish. The Park maintains several Port-a-Toilets along the trail and may be available.
ARE THERE AWARDS? Yes, awards will be giving out to the top 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male/Female runners in the 50k | 15K | 10k | 5k. No Awards for Stroller 5k
ARE DOGS ALLOWED? No, Pets are allowed at this event.
ARE PACERS ALLOWED? No, pacers are not allowed at this event. You may be disqualified from the race if this is observed by our race staff.
