Let’s Get Going: Black's Beach Hike Trail

Get your steps in and enjoy a scenic view of the ocean with Liberty as we take Blacks Beach Trail.

You'll probably run into other people while exploring because this is a really popular spot for strolling and birdwatching. The route is lovely to explore at any time of year and is open all year. Disclaimer: Please note that Black's Beach is a popular nude beach in San Diego and you may see people without clothing. This guided hike will not stay at Black's Beach but will pass through this area which is part of Torrey Pines State Beach. 

Some parts of the trail can be challenging due to steep cliffs and narrow footing.

What to Bring:
Wear comfortable clothing and good hiking shoes that offer traction. Please come prepared with 1L of water and your hiking essentials such as a hat, sunglasses. We highly recommend bringing a snack for the trail as well! We will have water, but it doesn't hurt to bring your own hydroflask/water bottle, if you have one.

Transportation:
Please meet at VADM Martin Liberty Center, NASNI Bldg. 1507 at 0725. We are right next to the gym. If you are running a few minutes late, please reach out to let us know.
