Description
Naval Base San Diego is hosting a virtual run series! Each week in the month of May, runners will log their running times, and turn them into the race director. At the end of the month, you will have ran a half marathon! The weeks and mileage are as follows:
Week 1 (May 1 - May 10): 2.5 miles.
Week 2 (May 11 - May 17): 3 miles.
Week 3 (May 18 - 24): 3.5 miles.
Week 4 (May 25 - 31): 4 miles.
All runners will receive a shirt. The top 3 finishers (male and female categories) will also receive a swag bag full of prizes! In order to be eligible for top 3, runners will have to submit a screenshot or link to a gps tracking app showing their time and distance. One recommended app to use would be "Strava". After submitting your first week, you will receive a link to view a google document, from there you will be able to compare your times against other participants.
