Second Chance Brewery 1st Anniversary 5K Walk & 10K Fun Run

So many of you have asked, "When are you doing another Hoppy Trails?" The time has come.  Second Chance Brewery is celebrating their 1st Anniversary and YOU are invited to come celebrate with a walk or run and enjoy a brewsky afterwards.

We'll meet at Second Chance Brewery at 10:52am, start running from the brewery over to the nearby Black Mountain Open Space Trails at 11:00am. Those of you walking will most likely make it just to the trail head before turning around so it's Hoppy Sidewalk for you :) As always, the rule of thumb is to turn around after 25 min, allowing 35 min for the return. Hopefully everyone will finish by noon when the tasting room opens.   They will have Baked Bear in the house with Root Beer Floats! Yes!

In conjuctions with Movin' Shoes and Phan Sports Marketing, we'll have lots of cool giveaways, fun photos to share and a beer to boost our recovery. Beer special for runners: $3 for Runner’s first beers and $10 off The Beerometers Running Shirts (regularly $35.) Also, rumor has it that Trasie Phan will be whipping up a giant carrot cake as a bon voyage to her departure on an 8 week trip across the country.

Where to park: Lots of parking in the Second Chance Brewery parking lot.  You have first dibs as you will be there before the tasting room opens at 12 noon.

What to wear: Dress up in Red White & Brew to honor our national holiday: Labor Day

What to bring: $45 = $3 for your first beer + $7 if you want to share pizza + $25 for a Second Chance Beerometer shirt + 10 for Hoppy Trails Trucker Hat.

This is self supported, please bring a bottle of water for yourself.
