Join Community Recreation for our annual trip to Temecula Wine Country where we will transformed back in time with our very own Grapestomping Experience and wagon ride, followed by a winery visit, live music, and lunch. Space is very limited.

Two Stops:

Longshadow Ranch where we will have a semi-private patio space for 6 wine tastings with live music and Great Scot BBQ tent open for food purchase! 

Second stop is Temecula Carriage Company for a 2 hour experience total time includes a 1 hour horse drawn ride through the vineyards and a grapestomping competition. Please pack a cooler and your favorite wine. Guests will pair up and name their team. There are two roles needed to in order to collect the juice. The first person is known as the stomper. Their job is to frantically squeeze every last grape in the barrel in order to extract the juice from each one. The second person is the most important person. They are the swamper. The swamper is responsible for ensuring that all the juice from the barrel is gotten into the container. This is a timed event.
What to Know: This is a MESSY EVENT! We will have a wash station available.
What to Bring: THE GRAPES ATTRACT BEES. We will spray for bees daily however, if you have a bee allergy you should bring an epi pen.
