Temecula Wine Tour 2023

Join Community Recreation for our annual trip to Temecula Wine Country where we will transform back in time with our very own Grape stomping Experience and Wine Tour.

3 stops:

1.Leoness Cellars: private experience for tastings at a reserved table, pre-selected flights and hosted artistic wine education away from the tasting room bar. Our group will enjoy an intimate and enjoyable tasting experience among friends.

2. Avensole Winery: This experience will include a selection of Avensole Wines from 5 tastings with 1.5 ounce pours each. Tastings are available from the bar. Avensole Winery will have brunch and food available for purchase during our visit. 

3. Temecula Carriage Company: Temecula Carriage Company for a 2-hour experience total time includes a 1-hour horse drawn ride through the vineyards and a Grape stomping competition. Guests will pair up and name their team. There are two roles needed to in order to collect the juice. The first person is known as the stomper. Their job is to frantically squeeze every last grape in the barrel in order to extract the juice from each one. The second person is the most important person. They are the swamper. The swamper is responsible for ensuring that all the juice from the barrel is gotten into the container. This is a timed event.

What to Know: This is a MESSY EVENT! We will have a wash station available.
What to Bring: THE GRAPES ATTRACT BEES. We will spray for bees daily however, if you have a bee allergy you should bring an epi pen.
