The Run for Girls Unite Virtual 5K is raising money for Girls Unite, a San Francisco-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to providing an empowering environment for young female athletes, increasing leadership and visibility of women in soccer, and making club soccer accessible to all girls in our region.
Due to the COVID19 pandemic, regular Girls Unite programming has been cancelled, delayed and placed in uncertainty. The inability to run summer soccer and camp programs significantly impacts Girls Unite funding sources, and threatens the organization's ability to continue fulfilling its mission.
