Jess Ly's Run 4 the Cause

Meet our friend, and fellow Cancer Survivor, Jess Ly!

She is running the Golden Gate Half Marathon on November 5th and she is raising money to support Cancer Cartel!

Cancer is represented everywhere.  The big nonprofit organizations are raising money for research, and we agree that is important.  But the huge problem lies in the day-to-day increase in expenses that cancer causes.   

We give directly to cancer warriors in need.  Funds that will be used to pay rent, afford childcare, make up for lost wages, put food on the table, and more.   Warriors like these are facing the financial toxicity caused by a cancer battle.  Warriors like these have to choose between lifesaving drugs and food on the table or a roof over their heads.  

Cancer Cartel is unique in the nonprofit world.  First, we are the face of our nonprofit.  We are three cancer survivors who are completely committed to making an impact on the financial well-being of people facing cancer.   And we see the power of that inspiration.  Second,  we give away 100% of our raised funds directly into the hands of these warriors.  All of our administration costs are covered by grants, sponsorships, and in-kind donations.  And third, we are taking the sad space of cancer and creating a FUN, INSPIRED, FASHIONABLE approach to fundraising.
