The SF Mile
Trials of Miles Racing and A Runners Mind are excited to introduce the inaugural SF (Road) Mile, coming to San Francisco this August. This classic point-to-point road mile will take place on Old Mason Street in the Presidio, offering a flat, fast, and USATF-certified course built for speed. With multiple heats for runners of all abilities, the SF Road Mile invites everyone, from first-time milers to seasoned competitors, to test themselves over one of the sport’s most iconic distances.
All registered participants take home a SF Mile vintage shirt. (Crafted from 100% ring-spun cotton, the heavyweight Comfort Colors 1717 offers a relaxed fit and a soft, lived-in look right out of the box. Garment-dyed for a unique, retro fade that only gets better with time.)
The Schedule
The SF Mile utilizes a wave start method to ensure a clear road and the best possible race conditions for all participants. The tentative schedule is as follows. (Note, the schedule is subject to change, but any changes will be minor.)
7:30 AM: Masters Women (40+)
7:50 AM: Masters Men (40+)
8:05 AM: Open #1 (7:30+)
8:20 AM: Open #2 (5:30-7:30)
8:30 AM: Non-Binary Mile
8:50 AM: Dog Mile
9:15 AM: Elite Women
9:30 AM: Elite Men
9:40 AM: Family/Community Walk Jog
