Choose your quest with the 5K, 2K, or Kids Dashes and jump into an experiential run with a playful Viking flair. Fueled by upbeat energy and smile-worthy moments along the course, it feels more like a moving celebration than a traditional race.
After you cross the finish line, keep the good times rolling at our post-race fair. Think music, games, kid-friendly fun, and plenty of space to relax, refuel, and swap stories with your clan.
Our Run/Walk
For Adults/Seniors/Youth: 5K & 2K races
For Children 4-7 years: 200 yards
For Children 2-3 years: 80 yards
Prizes are awarded for the fastest in 5K runners, also 2K youth runners. Everyone gets a medal!

Why run as a Team?
Everyone races individually, but teaming up increases your chances to win!
5K Runners: Compete not only for individual glory but also for a special team prize! The winners are determined by the average speed of the team members. Teams can include anything from 3 up to 10 members.
2K & kids' dashes: Being part of a fun, supportive group is a reward in itself! There are no size limits—bring as small or large a crew as you'd like.
Best team costume will also be awarded!

At the Viking Run, community comes first. The run is more than a race — it’s a way to connect people through shared movement, culture, and joy. The Scandinavian School & Cultural Center creates cultural and social experiences throughout the year - and your support helps us to achieve more.
