TEAM HUSKIES WEEK AND THE VHES COLOR FUN RUN

February 27th – March 3rd

Our message: Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM)

Welcome to our online FUN-raiser website for the VHES Team Huskies Week!

Organized by the VHES PTA volunteer team, this is our largest fundraiser of the 2016-2017 year. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to be utilized for grade-level funds, technology items for the school, as well as enrichment programs and assemblies for our Husky students and families.

Fun Runs have been a part of VHES PTA fundraising program for years. For those seasoned Husky parents, you may notice some changes in this year's fundraiser, and we believe these changes and improvements will make lasting memories for our students, and make our Team Huskies Week the most fun ever!

Our focus is on the health and well-being of students, teachers, and staff. We’re promoting teamwork at the classroom and grade level to ensure that this fundraiser is inclusive to all Huskies. Everyone can play an active role in their own health and well-being. Teachers will have a part in team-building exercises for their students; staff will have fun being a part of the daily incentives for top classrooms, and lunchtime during the week will be filled with activities and inspiring messages to our students.

Being a healthy, active, and involved member of our school promotes positive thinking, self-esteem, diminishes bullying, and gives students a sense of belonging….to Team Huskies!

Fun Activities

Some of the week's activities include:
