Event Description
Join us for the annual Torrance Armed Forces Day Stars and Strides 5K touring around beautiful Torrance, California on Saturday, May 16th at 8:00am! All finishing participants will receive a 5K commemorative t-shirt. There will be computerized bib timing, beverage giveaways, and exhibitor booths.
The Torrance Stars and Strides 5K is presented by the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce with thanks to sponsor UCLA Health, and in partnership with VR Promotions & Events!
Please note that due to construction, the start and finish line has moved to a nearby location just a few blocks away! The start and finish line will now be located near Maple Avenue and Civic Center Drive.

Please note that due to construction, the start and finish line has moved to a nearby location just a few blocks away! The start and finish line will now be located between the Torrance Courthouse and Toyota Sports Complex at Maple Avenue and Civic Center Drive, Torrance, CA 90503
Parking and Road Closures
Parking is available on Maricopa St. and Hawaii Ave., just east of Maple Ave. (near the starting line and expo location). There is also ample street parking in the residential and commercial districts east of Maple Ave. Please be sure to plan ahead by reviewing the road closures listed in the map below. Please note that parking near the library and courthouse will NOT be available due to event setup for the Armed Forces Day parade. Thank you for your participation and we hope you have a great race!
