Description

Please join us in our 3rd Annual run/walk event on Sunday, May 19th at Tranquillity High School supporting The Conner K. Gamboa Foundation where proceeds will go towards building awareness for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and awarding local high school students with scholarships in memory of our beloved Conner. In 2023 The CKG EDS Foundation donated 9 scholarships to students from three local high schools.

Event will have a 5k Run and 2 Mile walk:

The 5K Run will start at the Tranquillity High School Track where you will head out onto the trail running alongside beautiful almond orchards in a looped course and finishing at Tranquillity High School. This will be a timed race with 1st Place overall Male & Female awards and top three age group awards for Male & Female.

The 2 Mile walk will take place on the Tranquillity High School track where participants will complete 8 laps around the track.

EVENT INFORMATION:

7:00 am Registration and Packet Pick Up
8:30am Timed 5K Run Start
8:35am 2 Mile Walk (8 laps around track)
Virtual 2 Mile Walk also available for those that cannot physically attend (will mail participant shirt and medal)
$50 participation fee with amenities (Early registration discounts available February-April)
Event T-Shirt! *To guarantee your size and gender cut please register before 5/1/2024. Registrations after 5/1/2024 will be on a first registration, first serve basis.

-Breakfast will be ready for all participants as soon as they finish. Use your bib when getting your breakfast.
-10:00am Award Ceremony for 5k Run
-Raffle prize winners announced after awards ceremony

2024 Event T-Shirts 50/50 Blend

All participants will receive the 2024 CKG EDS Run Walk Custom T-Shirt. All registrations before 5/1/2024 will be guaranteed their shirt size and gender cut. After 5/1/2024 sizes will be on a first come, first serve basis during registration the day of the event.

Race Medals

The 5k will feature overall male/female award and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place age group awards. All participants both run and walk will get a completion medal.

2024 Raffle Items

At the conclusion of the event we will be raffling off a Smoker, Play Station, TV, Water Park Season Pass, misc baskets, etc. This is open to all the public! Don’t miss out!
