Ventura XC Sunset Trail Run

Join Ventura High School Cross Country at Arroyo Verde Park for a late afternoon run/walk. Standard post race snacks and drinks will be provided.

All Ventura High School XC Athletes and their families are asked to bring a dish to share for the team We will have a separate post race area for VHS XC. 

All other groups of friends and running clubs are encouraged to do the same.

Please note there are BBQ areas that you are welcome to use as well.

Your entry includes a Ventura Sunset Trail Run shirt OR a Ventura Cross Country shirt. The shirts will be a super soft blend (the kind you want to wear all day.)

Event will be electronically chip timed. If you are not competitive that is totally ok. This just means we record times in a fancy way.

This event is a fundraiser for Ventura High School Cross Country and All Proceeds will go to the program.

The 3K is a 1.86 mile route on grass and dirt and is meant for both runners and walkers.

The 5K is a 3.1 mile route over trails and grass and is only meant for runners. This is a challenging course and has a 1-hour time limit.

Both events are chip-timed.

The 3K and 5K start at 4 pm.

Check-In starts at 2:00 pm. near the back of the park by the large BBQ area.
