Visalia River Run has been cancelled for 2020
It is with a heavy heart that the Visalia River Run has been cancelled for the year of 2020. Due to the COVID-19 situation all parks and recreation permits have been cancelled and our venue at Golden West is shut down. As many of you know our race is a fundraiser for the band and orchestra here at Golden West High School. Yesterday it was released the VUSD will remain closed past May 4th.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to seeing you next year. Please consider donating your entry fee to help costs that have already accrued for this race.
We are issuing full refunds and you will receive an email to confirm your refund has been issued. At that point it will take 5-7 banking days for funds to be available for use. For questions, please contact me at Jsosa@vusd.org. Please be patient with my answers as this is a new scenario and I will be communicating with Runsignup for most of your questions

Description
The Visalia River Run takes runners along the beautiful St. John's River Trail. Both groups will head to Cutler park for an out and back. On return the 5k runners will head back in to Golden West to conclude their race while the 10k runner continue on to Ben Maddox. The 10k runners will make a loop at the St Johns Riverwalk Park and head back to Golden West.
Race Highlights Include:
-Official race t-shirt
-Race-bib with official timing.
-Free action shots on the course and at the start finish line!
-Finisher medal.
-Custom Trophy for top male and female runners.
-1st place medal for division winners.
