Holiday Season CHALLENGE/FUNDRAISER for The Contra Costa Food Bank and Christmas for Everyone
**MILES FOR MEALS**

As you all know, this year has been difficult and we haven't been able to host the usual events to raise money for our holiday charities.  But our community still has great need this year, maybe even more so!  So, we've decided to host a virtual fundraiser and activity challenge!  Here's how it works.

Step 1:  Sign up at https://bit.ly/388KfBw and pay the entry fee of $25.

Step 2:  Use whatever step or mile tracker you have to track your movement mileage for the next 5 weeks.  Walk, run, ride...just be you and go out and accumulate miles.  Screenshot your miles and post the screenshot proof of your activity in this group as you complete it.  Log back into your sign up portal and track your mileage there also.  Prizes will be given to those who have walked the most, ran the most or have ridden their bike the most!

Step 3:  Ask for pledges to sponsor you.  ($1/mile, $2/mile, etc.)  You can do this on your personal social media pages or through your contacts in person!  We will post a spreadsheet of the activity throughout the 5 weeks to show everyone's mileage progress and how much we have raised. 

The challenge ends Tuesday December 8th!  That's 5 weeks total for our Miles for Meals Challenge!

If you want to make a one time donation without the mileage, you can do so through the website above.  We will also be asking for company pledges and donations to add to your individual ones!

All money will be divided up evenly to two Charities: Contra Costa Food Bank and Christmas for Everyone.
