Be a fundraiser!
While fundraising is not required for this event, we sure hope you will consider it!
Individual Fundraiser:
Participants are invited to create their own fundraising pages. Once registered, the system will walk you through steps to create your own fundraising page. This can be shared with your networks through email, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, etc. Invite your friends, family, and colleagues to support you as you complete the 3.1 miles in support of Passaic County CASA.
In case you missed it, create your fundraising page:
1. Click the gray person icon on the top of the page, to the right of the DONATE button - Sign in if needed
2. Click My Registrations
3. Find the current race info and click Manage Registration
4. On the top toolbar, click FUNDRAISER and follow the prompts to create your page
Team Fundraising:
You can take your fundraising efforts one step further and create a fundraising team! This is a great way to get your family, your neighbors, your friends, or your office together during the Thanksgiving season. Together, you can raise more money and have more fun! Follow the steps above to create your team.
Facebook Fundraising
A great way to fundraise is through social media! Have a Facebook account? You can invite friends to donate to your CASA Thanksgiving 5K through Facebook.
1. Follow the steps above to create an individual fundraiser
2. Once complete, click the gray person icon on the top of the page, to the right of the DONATE button
3. Click PROFILE
4. Scroll down to the FUNDRAISING section of your profile page and click on your name and this race listed in this section.
5. This will bring you to your fundraising page. Scroll down and click CREATE A FUNDRAISER ON FACEBOOK.
6. Log in to your Facebook page if needed
7. You are ready to raise even more for children in foster care!
Access your unique link:
As a fundraiser, you will create your own unique URL to be shared (via email, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) with family and friends to support your great efforts!! This link will be sent to you via your confirmation email. It can also be accessed through the RunSignUp.com website:
1. Go to Runsignup.com
2. Click the person icon in the circle at the top right-hand side of the page
3 Sign in to your profile
4. Under that same person icon in the circle, click PROFILE
5. Your URL will be visible in your fundraising registration information
