The proceeds from the event will help to support Coatesville Kids to College, an organization that has operated in Coatesville for the past 9 years. Coatesville Kids to College’s mission is to provide academic, emotional, and spiritual empowerment to Coatesville's children and youth from pre-k to college.
The CKC pipeline aims to offer educational programming and comprehensive family support at every level of a child's development to ensure that each child is able to progress through each stage of school successfully, and eventually enroll in and graduate from college. Our programs are committed to partnering with families of the Coatesville community to provide children and youth with the strong educational foundation and Christian principles needed to enable their healthy development and strong foundation for future success.
For 9 years CKC has been operating Bright Beginnings Preschool which provides affordable full-day preschool for ages 3-5 years. The school combines Montessori style hands-on instruction with a Christian curriculum and multiple educational field trips.
CKC provide free after-school programs four days a week to children and youth in grades K-8th. Programming includes 1:1 tutoring, cooking, art, science labs, technology, gardening, Bible study and a variety of other learning experiences.
Each summer CKC operates two 6-week full-day summer camps that are no cost to families. These summer camps provide free breakfast and lunch and combine academic tutoring with fun educational activities and weekly field trips to places like Camden Adventure Aquarium, Delaware Children's Museum, and the Lancaster Science Factory.
