Questions about the weather?

Don't worry, we will hold the event snow or shine. Make sure to check out this space and our social media Friday afternoon for course and venue conditions. The snow is currently forecast to fall Thursday mid-day to Friday morning, so we won't know the full impact until our course review Friday afternoon. Note that neither the trails nor the venue can be plowed, by us,

Does the upcoming/reported weather not match your running/walking goals?

We are keeping virtual registration open until Saturday 9:20 AM. If you decide to switch to virtual participation, don’t worry about your swag—we will ship your swag and finisher medal to you this coming Monday at no additional charge.

Exciting new look and features!

We're thrilled to introduce the all-new art and design coming to the 2026 Polar Prowl!

Designed by the Race Director (not AI), this refreshed look will be featured everywhere:

  • A brand new banner and finish line arch.
  • Exciting new swag (race shirt, medal, etc.).
  • Awesome new brag tags for our alumni!

Register today to secure your spot and get your hands on this exciting new swag!

But that's not all!

  • We now offer age-based pricing for our younger participants (kids younger than 15) and our seasoned runners (seniors 65 and older)!
  • The overall winners of the Polar Prowl will take home cash prizes, and may receive prizes from our partners!
  • We have brand new ways for your four-legged running buddies to mark their achievements at the finish line—dog finisher dog tags for your medal, or if we have extra medals available, a keepsake medal for purchase.
