Description
The Annual Run For The Ring 5K and Fun Run will bring together Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes (BDC) patients, loyal supporters, and running enthusiasts to run for the brass ring – the cure. Walkers are also welcome! All proceeds from this event will support the efforts and programs of The Guild of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation whose mission is to fund research, promote diabetes awareness and education, assist families in need, provide continuing education scholarships, and sponsor social activities for children and their families.
The 5K USATF Certified Course and Bolder BOULDER Qualifying Race will start at the BDC and wind through the beautiful Anschutz Medical Campus. After, participants will be able to enjoy the vendor area, awards ceremony, and tour the BDC with volunteer staff members. Kids will also be able to participate in the Fun Run which will include a 1/16 mile race, misters and inflatable tunnels and bounce houses. Bring the family out to enjoy a morning of fun and exercise – there is something for everyone!
