285 Turkey Trot - 2025

Come one, come all! Turkeys, donkeys, runners, joggers & walkers of all ages, because Bailey's Annual Turkey Trot is going to be one you and the family won't want to miss! For the first time this year, the 285 Turkey Trot is being planned and organized by CRATES (Colorado Race and Timing Event Services) Colorado, a new small business born right here in Bailey. CRATES Colorado aims to be Colorado's new premiere event services planning organization, specializing in fundraising events, race creation, event timing, course set-up & take-down & much more.

Come join us for this annual family tradition, this year held on Saturday, November 22nd, right here in beautiful Bailey, Colorado. Although this event is still a race, we encourage all walkers, joggers, and runners of all ages and skill levels to join us for a morning filled with family & fun, located at the beautiful Tomahawk Ranch here in Bailey, Colorado. We will offer four different distances for participants; a "1k kids loop" for athletes 11 years of age and under, a 5k division, a 10k division and a "virtual division" for athletes who want to participate from a different location. Our 1k kids loop division will begin at 9AM, with the 5k and 10k divisions beginning directly after.

All participants will receive a super cool finishers' award, a 2025 Turkey Trot themed technical racers shirt, a goodie-bag with tons of cool swag from our race sponsors and a morning with friends and family they will never forget. For all participants who attend in person, we will have a race-day expo right after the race with a race day raffle and many of our sponsors setting up booths with more goodies, items to purchase, info about their businesses, etc. Be sure to stop by and see what they are all about and support our local business community!

In year's past, the Turkey Trot has used to proceeds to fund various projects for the Platte Canyon High School Cross Country Program. This year, the 285 Turkey Trot will be donating 10% of all race profits, along with 100% of donations raised from the donation tab being donated by CRATES Colorado, to Evergreen High School Athletics, in wake of their recent school shooting that took place on September 11th, 2025. We hope that they will be able to use these funds for anything their student athletes may need in these challenging times. CRATES Colorado stands strong with EHS! Go Cougars!
